An Expert Advisor does not remove risk
An EA follows fixed rules. It cannot adapt to every market, and every EA has losing periods.
- Losses can be larger, or come faster, than in any test.
- A lost connection, a closed terminal or a VPS failure can leave trades unmanaged.
- Your broker's spread, slippage, commission, swap and execution speed change the results.
Backtests and demo results are simulations
The returns, profit factor and drawdown shown on product pages come from backtests in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. Backtest results are hypothetical. They are produced on historical data, with the benefit of hindsight, using settings we chose.
- No backtest fully reflects real trading: slippage, liquidity, requotes and the pressure of real losses are missing or simplified.
- Live results can differ materially from backtest results, and often do.
- Results from demo accounts, including those shown on Myfxbook, are also simulated and have the same limits.

Reviews and examples are not typical
Reviews, ratings, screenshots and example trades on this site or on MQL5 show what some traders or tests achieved. They are not typical, they are not a promise, and they do not tell you what you will earn. Your results can be very different, including a loss.
Your settings are your decision
You choose the broker, the account, the lot size or risk per trade, and when to run or stop an EA. Results depend on those choices. Test any EA on a demo account before you use real money.
